Free Will?

I have always heard about "free will." The truth is there is much in life that is beyond our control. We can not will against the painful events and have them not be. Free will = this: Every life situation is what it is but comes with a variety of options. We freely choose among the available options. Our choices create repercussions whether good or bad which also come with a set of options. And so it goes in an unending continuum. Sometimes through prayer, God is persuaded to supernaturally intervene. He is the only one who can actually choose His reality. Every situation is what it is until it becomes something else whether through the natural progression of choice making or the supernatural intervention of God.
